My daughter has been hanging out with her schools tough crowd for the last 6 months. Last weekend she was arrested along with a whole group of them in a stolen car. She claims she didn't know it was stolen, but they had all been drinking (except for the driver) and nobody seemed to even know who the car supposedly belonged to. I guess the most sober one just drove so at least they were relatively safe. Thank God!
My daughter is now grounded under lock and key, and we're talking to her a lot about the problem. Since my wife and I read your book, we feel like we're better equipped to handle the situation calmly, and we're looking into family counselors.
I think we're doing the right thing, but just thought I'd share this experience.
