SO, I've been asking my 15-year-old daughter for eternity to please turn her hall light off when she's done. I even pleaded that the electric bill was simply getting out of hand. I had pretty much stopped asking and just continued to turn it off myself. So over the last few weeks I noticed that I had not had to turn that light off and even said "hey, thanks for keeping the hall light off". Well, the other night I needed the light but it didn't come on. I went to change the bulb and said "Hey this lights out?" She says "Oh, that's BEEN out". Hmm?
So tonight it was on, I turned it off and slammed the door...on my fingers. Then I said "IF I HAVE TO TURN THAT LIGHT OFF FOR YOU ONE MORE TIME, YOU WON'T GET ON THAT COMPUTER THE REST OF THE WEEK". Her reply: "Oh, you haven't had to turn that light off for a while".
Ahh, just made me laugh. Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em!
