I may be a little dense but the reference to the new testament and teens, I do not understand, Please explain?

I'm no bible scholar, but I think it means that in all his wisdom, and with all his communication skills, Jesus knew better than to try talking to a teen. Murderers, thieves, children, yes. But God forbid, not a teen! I laughed outloud when I read this! (LOL as my kikds write)
