My daughter is freaking out because I am buying a house with my boyfriend/ future husband. It is a long term relationship and my daughter knows him well, but all of a sudden her mood swings have gotten really bad..and she is really testing her limits. Cursing me out, telling me that I ruined her life because we are moving in with "f-in" you know who and so on. I also think she has started hanging with a group of girls who are not such great influences...possibly experimenting with drinking..etc...
It doesn't help that her father lives nearby, and is limited in parenting and self control at best.
I am working with a counsellor but would welcome any suggestions.
