I've never written an author or been part of a forum before, but I had to find a way to let you know how much your book changed our lives. When my daughter turned 12 I thought my life was over. No one seemed to understand the confusion, despair and loss I felt. No one seemed to know how to help me reconnect to the child I'd felt I lost. I was depressed, she was angry, we both were sad.
Your book is not only well written, extremely informative, and FUNNY, but it is tremendously helpful! What you teach actually WORKS! Our whole family is so much happier. Most importantly, my daughter is happier, less angry, open emotionally and loving again.
You have given a gift to those of us struggling during this difficult period. Thank you, sincerely. Thank you for making a difference.
