My 15 year old daughter in the last four months has started skipping school, lying to me shoplifting , drinking and having sex.
She is getting all F's in school and does not seem to care. I have tried everything I know to do and now she has moved in with her best friend. How can I reach her and get her back home. I am a single mom and desperate.

You need to quickly get to a counselor and lay out this story in detail to get good advice on how to proceed. There are many possible causes for this sudden dramatic shift in your kid's behavior, and each may call for a different repsonse from you. Gather up as much data as you can by talking with her friends, teachers, neighbors and so on to see if they have nay info that can help the doc sort things out.
Your child is definitely at risk, so move fast. Each day that she lives that way makes it harder to bring her back to safety.

Thank you for you prompt reply I really do not know how to go about finding a good councilor I talked to our medical dr and she gave me the phone number for Good Samaritan Ministries do you think they can help us? I do not have insurance so how do I go about finding someone who deals with teens?

Dear Mom,
By all means contact that agency. Also call your high school to ask what services thay might have to help you and your daughter.
