Dr Bradley, after searching thru many a title i settled on your yes your teenager is crazy advice book after reading all the great reviews. I must say that our lives have changed in this two weeks of my reading the book, mostly because it changed me. I saw the train coming after watching my brother and his exwife ride it with their teens for years and i didnt want to take that ride. reading the book has made me realize that i am taking my up and coming 14 year old too seriously, myself too seriously, that i am trying to control things i shouldnt and/or cant, that it's spreading to my marriage, that i need to get my sense of humor back, to let my baby go and embrace who she's become, etc etc.....on and on. Oh my gosh i am only up to commandment 3 and our week has changed from last. i feel like i have taken a college course on life. the book is so on the money and a mental health refresher for every member of the family. I have not screamed, demanded; we have not had an argument, i have not been sarcastic or demeaning; on the contrary, we have had some good laughs, watched a movie together, and i was even "allowed" to accompany my daughter to the mall. I just ordered four copies, one for a coworker of a 15 year old; one for my divorced brother and one for his exwife and one for my husband (he wont read on my ebook) and then i plan on passing them around to every parent i know to spread the word. The only issue I have with the book is the title and the stress of keeping my teenager from seeing it so as to not offend her. may i suggest pseudo titles for future books:D congratulations to you! i look forward to reading more of your works.
