I haven't finished Dr. Bradley's book yet, but am interested in the brain research he references. Beyond making teens crazy, could this also explain their apparent deafness?
My teenage son often doesn't hear a word I say.
I seriously had his hearing tested, because with all the headphone use and loud music, I feared that he really couldn't hear me. Tests were negative, but I swear that if he's not looking directly at me, he just doesn't hear me.
Anyway, I was just wondering if it was possible that the adolescent brain wasn't wired right to trasmit sound from the ear to the brain?
