joys/challenges/conflicts/changes of raising adolescents

Hi Dr. Mike,

I am a mother of two great kids ages 10 (girl) and 12 1/2 (boy). I am doing a project for my Adolescent Psychology class at Illinois State University. I am finishing my degree in Elementary Education. The project is learning from parents on forums what life is like as the parent of an adolescent. I have plenty of my own stories, and would love to hear how others are experiencing parenthood with their adolescents - the good and the bad. Any input would be great - as a parent and a student! Susie, Just for your information, I think you'll get better response to your posts if you try to fit them into our preexisting categories.
